I've been fortunate enough to travel on four continents and with continued luck will make it to the remaining  continents.  My early travels were made before my interest in photography had manifested, so a lot of my early photos are just wonderful reminders of past travels.  As my interest in photography increased I began taking my camera and equipment with me on all my excursions.  My trips the past several years included an ample complement of camera equipment.  Many thanks to my wife who is most accommodating of my interest in photography and my desire to take the necessary time and effort to capture images.  Whether a short day hike in Southern California, weeklong backpacking trips in mountains, and especially on vacations, my gear is almost always with me.  You never know what you may come across and wish you had your camera with you.
