December 20, 2016 - Another warm and beautiful day comes to close. The clouds were picking up the last light and the wet sand was catching the reflections. November 14, 2015 - Clear warm fall and winter days provide stunning light long after the sun has set. Coupled with a low tide create an amazing scene beneath the Manhattan Beach Pier. Positioning my self to capture the cresent moon, using a long exposure to bring out the details in the pier but maintain colors the sky was giving. July 18, 2012 - One of the most amazing sunsets I've seen in the South Bay. This is the first of two images from that day. The day had a tropical feel to it with a little rain, then the skies light up moments after sunset and gave a spectacular but short lived show. Note the yellow glow over the Santa Monica Mountains above Malibu. This image was taken approximately two minutes after the sun had set. July 18, 2012 - This is the second of two images from that day. The soft red and yellow glow have transformed into a manjenta with just the cloud edges reflecting most of the color. The waves were creating a substantial amount of foam as they washed up on the share. Just an absolutely stunning day!
