Blood Orange Seas
November 22, 2013 - The first storm of the season had passed and cleaned the air. Visibility throughout the Santa Monica Bay was amazing. Cloud activity around Palos Verdes Peninsula looked interesting so that's where I went. Shot from a new location up on the bluffs just southeast of Point Vincente (Point Vincente Lighthouse is on right side of image). Then I just waited for the magic and was not disappointed, the most deep and intense red/orange reflection on the ocean I've ever seen.
