Golden State
April 9, 2017 -The 2017 California Super bloom trek takes me to Carrizo Plain National Monument. Miles of dense wildflowers (Hillside Daisies - Monolopia Lanceolata) throughout the valleys and into the hills create a carpet of yellow and gold as far as the eye can see. Once again it was identifying that perfect location to capture the flowers in full bloom against a background of the blooming hillsides.
