Isle of Purple
April 15, 2017 - An island of Purple Tansy's (Phacelia tanacetifolia) within a field of Hillside Daisies (Monolopia lanceolata) set the foreground for this image taken in Carrizo Plain National Monument. Getting the right angle to capture the streaking cloud formation over the flowering hillside was key in bringing this image to life.
