Springtime in So Cal
Manhattan Beach, CA - Enjoying a beautiful spring day walking along a somewhat crowded beach I came upon this bird just standing there. Was not bothered by people, so I crawled on the ground to capture his picture using the Manhattan Beach Pier as my background. He (she?) majestically lifted his head for a beautiful pose. I've been told this is a juvenille Brandt Cormorant.
